So far, this part of the IVF journey has been pretty
positive. We are able to get 8 eggs to mature instead of the 5 that we estimated
before the retrieval procedure. Tomorrow morning is our transfer appointment
and then we wait. I guess since we’re
novices at this, every bit of news that seems slightly positive is a big deal
to us. We’re actually getting excited that this will work and we will indeed
have a little come next spring.
On the money front, we’re trying to save a little and pay a
little for the next six months. Our focus is on paying back Mr. M’s parents,
saving up for a car and saving for our little one.
